Like many of you, we are holding a lot right now. There is real fear, uncertainty, and exhaustion in our communities, and it is being felt most deeply by the families and staff we serve—many of whom are immigrants navigating an increasingly chaotic and unwelcoming landscape.

We want you to know that YFO is here, and we are not stepping back.

Right now, our team is focused on supporting families and staff in concrete, human ways: creating space for conversation and connection, helping families access trusted resources, and ensuring our staff feel supported, informed, and cared for as they continue this work. We are listening closely, responding thoughtfully, and leading with compassion.

At the same time, we are doubling down on our mission. The need for YFO’s work is not going away. If anything, our approach—grounded in equity, trust, and deep relationship with families—will be more important than ever in the months and years ahead. History shows that moments like this demand courage, clarity, and community. Going quiet helps no one.

This is a moment to lean into one another. To stand strong. To keep showing up with love and bravery for children and families who depend on us.
